Enhanced Exploration

Tutorials:

Introduction

Have you ever been ripped off by an expensive tour? Taking tours can be a fun and efficient way to explore a new place, but they are often overpriced and impersonal. Guide is an exciting new travel app that allows users to enjoy free, nearby points of interest sourced by locals and area experts. With Guide, travelers take tours on their own schedule, on their own interests, and at their own pace. Guide streams informative multimedia content for hundreds of 'waypoints'. Guide is for anyone with a desire to have new experiences in a fun, collaborative way. It is perfect for the traveler in a new city, the home-body who wants to get to know their hometown or the couple looking for a fun date night. Waypoints include hikes, museums, city strolls, historical sites, scavenger hunts, scenic drives and more. We set out to create an easy-to-use, crowd-sourced, virtual tour guide.

This page functions as a tutorial for new users to help them get up and running with the Guide application as quickly as possible. Read through the appropriate section to get started on your road to discovery. Where will Guide take you next?
